Essential Functions/ Major Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a coordinated communication strategy across owned channels that includes targeted messaging based on guest segmentation and message testing for continual optimization across the guest journey.
  • Ensure all owned channel guest touch points support the company vision to be an integral part of every health and fitness journey.
  • Maximize guest engagement with Smoothie King.
  • Coordinate with Loyalty Marketing to ensure seamless communications across channels.
  • Lean into continuous digital innovation with the goal of establishing Smoothie King as a leader in digital marketing.
  • Monitor competitive initiatives and remain up to date on digital marketing innovations, identifying new opportunities for Smoothie King.


  • Lead content management and updates to support the company vision, new products/product changes, nutritionals, promotions, partnerships, and technology integrations.
  • Leverage SEO optimizations and improvements to enhance performance and guest conversion.
  • Provide ongoing metrics to key stakeholders as means of analyzing, maximizing, and improving guest targeting, media optimization, and in-store and online sales measurement.
  • Assist in presenting training materials to managers and new franchisees.


  • Develop Annual/Monthly Social Content Calendar.
  • Execute social strategies for promotional campaigns across all channels.
  • LSM Promotional Guides.
  • Creative Development across all channels.
  • Partner reciprocity execution and management.
  • Provide direction on copy development and creative with internal graphics designer and agency partners.
  • Execute Content Calendar (post to various channels).
  • Lead Community Management and reputation management including coordinating with guest service and surprise and delight for guests.
  • Develop franchisee how-to social media kit and other franchisee facing tools including a content library for local pages.
  • Manage and maintain partner relationship with CMS and franchisee tool.
  • Maintain reporting and analyze social performance.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications, preferred.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years’ experience working in marketing-based roles in consumer marketing, retail, hospitality, and/or media field with emphasis on online communities.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Knowledgeable of social media platforms and channels, including best practices.
  • Personal passion for fitness is a plus.
