Better Together

Partnerships Inclusivity

WHEN WE SAY
INSPIRE PEOPLE,
WE MEAN EVERYONE.

We champion a diverse and inclusive workforce that is representative of the guests we serve. We blend the unique members of our organization, celebrating what is both common and different to grow better together and Rule the Day®.

From Wan Kim, CEO

We don’t always have the right words, but we have to speak up. We stand together as an inclusive brand committed to help each person live out their purpose.
Injustice and inequality are not right. What is right is using our voice to educate and our resources to fund causes that fight discrimination. Let’s be part of the change together.

CEO ACTION FOR
DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

As a leader, Wan is taking an action-oriented step alongside a group of more than 1,200 CEO’s in a collective commitment to make progress towards advancing diversity and inclusion. The CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace by following these actions:

(1) cultivate our workplace to support open dialogue on complex, and sometimes difficult, conversations about diversity and inclusion

(2) make unconscious bias-education available to everyone

(3) share best known—and unsuccessful—actions

(4) create and share strategic inclusion and diversity plans with our Executive team as a way to prioritize diversity and inclusion and drive accountability in our organization

partners and initiatives

Actions speak louder than words. Here's how we're taking a stand to be a diverse and inclusive brand.

We donated $100,000 to the Legal Defense Fund of the NAACP to promote fair and equitable treatment of all people.

We’ve partnered with the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to help athletes with physical challenges live a full, active lifestyle.

To help drive inclusive behavior in and outside of the workplace, our employees have taken the I Act On pledge.

Mentorship program

We are developing a team member mentoring program to encourage diversity across our brand. Launching later this year, our mentoring program will provide avenues for all employees to network with one another and gain invaluable knowledge and guidance to achieve their career goals and enhance our internal diversity.

better together

As a company, we are taking actionable steps to be a workplace that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. Along with Wan’s pledge, each of our corporate employees have and will participate in multiple interactive workshops about diversity, inclusion and unconscious bias. Our team has also started a book club to further discuss and learn about other's diverse experiences.

Our logo - coming together

When redesigning our logo in 2014, the goal was to show people coming together in their health and fitness journeys. Each of the three crown points represents a person, united and holding hands with the person next to them. On the right side, a hand is extended to invite others to join us on their journey.

Empowering our community to rule the day®
every day

Helping change lives through adaptive sports

We believe in the transformative power of purpose. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to help athletes with physical challenges live a full, active lifestyle.
